The Ball Out Foundation’s mission is to provide young adults, teens, and children the opportunity to achieve their aspirations in life without worries of the expenses of higher education. To also acquire funding through donors and sponsors alike to provide camps, scholarships, and awareness events to the youth and young adult community.

On February 25, 2024, The Ball Out Foundation signed The LaKevin DeBruce Scholarship Grant in partnership with LaGrange College.
​
On May 4, 2024, LaKevin received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science: Sports and Human Performance LaGrange College . We are so proud you, LaKevin ! Even beyond this earthly world you are making great strides. From being a one of the captains on the football team, a member of Black Student Union, and being a well rounded student athlete and leader, you have shown many how to strive for excellence. CONGRATULATIONS KEVIN!

To apply, you must be a sophomore, junior or rising senior.

Has maintained a minimum 2.7 GPA. (You will be able to attach an unofficial transcript to your application).

Must be involved in extracurricular activities.

The recipient must have demonstrated financial need and submit the required essay.

Complete a formal interview process (this process will be decided at the discretion of the scholarship committee, made up of representatives from the college and the Ball Out Foundation).
